Dagenham Swimming Club

Dagenham Swimming Club is the largest swimming club operating in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. Michael not only used to swim there, but he was even squad captain for a few years. He's since given it all up but he does still maintain their website.

Dagenhamswimmingclub.co.uk is statically coded with any content being manually added by Michael. It does include some nice features however, such a Javascript content rotator on the home page and a password protected Members' area so the swimmers can see each others results etc.

Contact Form

The contact form uses AJAX to send the message and then relay a 'success' or 'error' message back into the live page. It also displays a nice loading bar whilst the message is sending, and messages are delivered directly the club's secretary. Users can choose to copy themselves into the message.

Members' Area

The Dagenham Swimming Club Members' Area offers exclusive content to swimmers who are a part of the club. They can login to view fixture results and material that does not need to be accessed by guests to the site.
